El Fanadir has a sheltered lagoon with moorings and a wall that slopes to a shelf of coral blocks on sand at about 20–25 m before a deeper drop-off. It is a staple for training, check dives and night dives, with plenty of camouflaged reef life to hunt for. The northern tip can be drifted in good weather.
