Terms of use

By using Diver Atlas (diveratlas.com), you agree to these terms.Diver Atlas is operated by CoreSpaces LLC. The site is a read-only dive-site encyclopedia: we are not a certification agency and we do not sell trips, take bookings, or process payments on your behalf.

The service

Plates, guides, centre listings, and maps are general information for research — not dive planning, safety, or medical advice. Local operators, permits, and the briefing on the boat still decide whether you enter the water.

Editorial plates are compiled from published sources and labelled as not yet confirmed until a centre-verified diver confirms them. Do not treat editorial plates as field-verified fact.

Acceptable use

• Use the encyclopedia and accounts lawfully. Do not attempt to break authentication, scrape private fields, or harass contributors or centres.
• Do not misrepresent Diver Atlas as an official certification record, booking engine, or payment provider.
• Do not publish another diver's certification number or private contact details obtained through the service.

API and MCP

The public API and MCP server are free, read-only, and require no API key. They return the same plates as the website. There is no write surface, no booking, and no centre recommendations through these interfaces.

• Respect rate limits (120 requests per minute per IP). Do not use bots or distributed requests to bypass those limits.
• When you show atlas facts to people, cite the canonical plate URL and show the verification tier. Do not present editorial-unverified plates as verified.
• Do not bulk re-publish plates as a competing directory. Data is general information, not dive planning or safety advice.
• Do not claim that the API or MCP offers booking, payments, private centre contacts, or certification lookup beyond the public verify fields described in our Privacy policy.

Accounts

You are responsible for your login credentials. Centre-verified status unlocks contribution; misuse may lead to revoked access. You own your diver data subject to the integrity needs of the public atlas.

The atlas is provided "as is" without warranties. CoreSpaces LLC is not liable for decisions you make based on plate content, API responses, or third-party operators you contact independently.
