Approximate position from published sources.
Abu Galawa is the longest reef in the Seven Sisters chain off Yanbu: a sandy plateau from about 12 m with coral heads cut by sand channels, south and south-west walls hung with gorgonians, and a grotto near 20 m. Grey and silky sharks, trevally and sometimes hammerheads show in the blue, especially when current runs on the southern slope. Its sheltered side is a common overnight mooring for liveaboards.

Where sources disagree
Site depth (12–40 m) and 'medium' difficulty come only from Ocean Breeze Liveaboards; TDI/SDI confirms a grotto at ~20 m and drop-offs to great depth but gives no max. Scuba Travel's Seven Sisters region page says currents are often strong and recommends AOW + 30–50 logged dives; Ocean Breeze rates current 'average', strongest on the south slope, so current set to variable. Visibility/temperature are regional.
Durable multi-axis scores sit on the rating plate. File a timestamped condition report, CoralWatch colour, or debris card on today's report. Public averages stay verified-only. Book at an Andaman dive centre.
