Approximate position from published sources.
Divers kneel or hover on a sandy plateau around 10 m just outside the harbour entrance while tiger sharks, sometimes many at once, cruise past at close range. The plateau drops away into open ocean, so surge can be strong. Guides control how close the sharks come and brief divers on strict behaviour.
Open Water and above (Pelagic Divers); some sources advise advanced divers only

Where sources disagree
Depth agrees across sources at a plateau of roughly 6–10 m (Resortlife 6–15 m, SSI 8–10 m average, Maldives Travel Insider 6–9 m plateau, Pelagic Divers ~10 m) vs 8–20 m (aMaldives). Level: Open Water minimum with AOW strongly recommended (Pelagic Divers, SSI suggests Deep/Currents specialties) vs advanced (aMaldives); kept intermediate. Visibility/temperature are island-wide.
