Shark Island lies a short boat ride from Khor Fakkan and is often used when rougher sites are blown out. Hard corals and a granite wall host Arabian angelfish, morays and turtles, and small blacktip reef sharks can be seen in very shallow water. Summer plankton can cloud the water.
