Approximate position from published sources.
The pinnacle is about 50 m across and drops steeply to a rock-and-sand floor, with ridges running north and west that give the site its name. Schools of fish swirl in the current around the stack, and pelagics such as cobia, trevally and the odd whale shark pass by. It is about 50 minutes by boat from Dibba, with the same border formalities as other Musandam trips.
Experienced Open Water or AOW; Nitrox recommended
