A sloping reef running from shallow water to the low 20s of metres, where mantas come in to feed and be cleaned after the monsoon. Currents here are stronger than at Bangaram's sheltered lagoon sites, and the slope also attracts eagle rays, turtles and schooling snapper.

Where sources disagree
Depth 6–23 m (PADI) vs 'down to 20 m' (SSI). Level and current from SSI alone. X-Ray Mag (2011) reports no confirmed manta cleaning station at Bangaram and only occasional mantas in Nov–Dec. No dive-centre page with site data found.
