The Royal Thai Navy donated the ship, built in 1942, and it was cleaned and sunk as an artificial reef in June 2011 off Koh Tao's south coast. It sits upright on sand, with the bridge at about 18 m, a bow gun near 20 m and the stern near 30 m. Trained divers can enter under the bow gun platform and follow a corridor aft. Shops often pair it with the shallow Hin Pee Wee reef.
