Current-swept thila off Girifushi famed for its blanket of soft coral and a chimney swim-through, with big schools when the current runs.

Approximate position from published sources.
A protected pinnacle whose walls are thick with soft corals that bloom in the current. A chimney-like cave runs up through the reef from around 25 m to 10 m, and there are overhangs, crevices and boulders to shelter behind. On a strong incoming current it fills with fusiliers, trevally, tuna and grey reef sharks.
