The rock pokes just above the surface far from land, with shallow east and north sides and a sheer southwest wall dropping far beyond diving depth. Dives usually start down the west wall and finish in rich shallows. The red soft coral that names the site is densest on the east side. It is reached by day trip from Lanta or by Phuket liveaboard.
