Approximate position from published sources.
Built in 1928, the tanker was torpedoed off Madagascar in 1942, moved to Addu, hit again by a German U-boat in 1944 and finally scuttled in 1946. It now lies on its side in the sheltered lagoon, the shallowest hull plates around 15–16 m and the propeller near 28 m. Divers can swim through the large torpedo holes, and the hull is thick with hard and soft coral.
