Dixon's Pinnacle is the name travel blogs reach for when they mean 'serious Havelock diving.' The site is three pinnacles in blue water east of Swaraj Dweep, typically a 45–70 minute boat, working depths from the mid-teens into the thirties.
It is not a first Andaman dive. Current on the columns is the briefing. The reward is a cleaning station: Napoleon wrasse, trevally, seasonal mantas, and the occasional whale shark in the blue — if the skipper and the sea agree.
